Fuller (nee Megarah) passed away at her home in Crystal January 29th, 1902. She was born in West Unity, Williams county, Ohio, July 26th, 1846. At the age of 12 years she came to Portland with her father, where she remained, attending Portland school and afterwards teaching, until February 9th, 1873 when she was married to John M. Fuller of Crystal, Rev. A. P. Moores being the officiating clergyman. After a short visit with friends in Canada she settled, with her husband, in Crystal, Montcalm county, residing there until her death. One son, Elton, blessed this union. She was a faithful wife and loving mother and did much for the community in which she lived until about two years ago, when her health began to fail. Not being aware of the real cause of her ill health she went to Grand Rapids last April, entering the U.B.A. hospital. It was there her friends learned that nothing could be done for her. Soon after arriving at home she took to her bed and gradually failed until death relieved her of her suffering. She leaves a husband and son, together with other relatives and friends, to mourn her loss. Her pastor, D. A. Rood, and former pastor, A. B. Johnston of Hastings performed the last sad rites.
