Benjamin Fuller was born in Durham, Mansfield county, Ont. April 14, 1851, being the youngest of six children. He came to Michigan when 11 years old, and lived in the township of Keene, Ionia county. He was married in 1875 to Dora M. Gay, of Ionia, to whom four daughters were born, the elder dying in infancy. Besides the widow he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Lewis Stearns, of Howard City, Mrs. Alex Bain, of Belding, and Mrs. Albert Ritzema, of Grand Rapids, and one grandson. Three brothers, Asa, William, and James Fuller, all of Belding. Another brother, Levi, died last September. One sister, Mrs. Jane Thompson, of Keene, also survives.
