Lake Odessa Wave-Times October 10, 1935

                                      OBITUARY
Minnie Elizabeth Hair, daughter of Levi and Mary Hair, was born in Portland 
Township on October 7, 1873, and passed away at University of hospital in Ann 
Arbor on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 25 days.

On February 17, 1897 she was united in marriage  to Chris Funk of Sebewa. To 
this union were born two children, Thomas Russell who died in infancy and Harold 
of Lake Odessa, who besides the husband survive her.

She was in an auto accident seven years ago, never since fully regaining health. 
about four weeks ago she was taken seriously ill with heart trouble and 
complication of diseases.

She leaves to mourn her departure her sorrowing husband and son Harold, two 
sisters Mrs Eva Fell of Portland and Mrs Clara Little of Grand Rapids, also a 
brother Chester Hair of Portland, and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon the sermon was by 
Rev. Leon W. Manning and the singing by Mr. H.H. Chase and Mrs Rose Irwin. 
Burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
