The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 14, 1950
Christian Funk, 75, of Lake Odessa Route 3 died at the Eckert Convalescent 
home on East Main street Thursday morning.  He had been a patient there since 
December 9.  He was born January 21, 1875 and had always lived in Lake 
Odessa.  He was a retired farmer.  

Surviving are a son, Harold, of Lake Odessa; and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Wheeler 
of Lansing and Mrs. Clara Morris of Ft. Benton, Mont. 

Funeral services will be held at the Pickens funeral home Sunday at 3 p.m. 
with the Rev. Joseph Speas officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeside 
cemetery.
