Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday July 7, 1960

Cathy Jo Furlong 6-wks. Old Dies.
Cathy Jo Furlong, six weeks old daughter of Clarence and Alice Strimback Furlong 
passed away Sunday morning at Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids. She was born May 
25th at Pennock Hospital. She had been a patient for 36 hours at the hospital.

Surviving are her parents, of route three, Hastings; a sister, Carol Sue, three 
yrs. old; a brother Terry Lee, 19 month old, maternal grandfather Merrill 
Strimback of route three, Lake Odessa and a paternal step-grandmother Mrs.Helen 
Furlong of Nashville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with 
burial int he Lakeside Cemetery.

Rev. Nathan Hawks of the Nazarene Church at Hastings officiated.
