Elsie M. Furman, age 81, of Saranac passed away July 18, 2009 at her home. She 
was born December 13, 1927 in Ionia. Elsie married Albert Furman February 19, 
1949 in Barryton. Albert preceded her in death, April 17, 2008.
Elsie is survived by her sons; Michael Furman of Saranac and Phillip (Robin) 
Furman of Saranac; granddaughter, Jessica Partridge of Belding and great 
grandson Paxton Partridge at home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 
husband, 1 son Steven and 1 sister Anita Furman.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 A.M. at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Rev. Frank Lattimore officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday 5-8 P.M. at the funeral 
home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Elsie’s name to 
Lansing Area Hospice or 1st Responders of Saranac.
