Ionia County Shopper's Guide, 26 Apr 2008

Albert LeRoy Furman, age 80, of Saranac passed away April 17, 2008 at his home.
 He was born December 11, 1927 in Ionia, MI, the son of Douglas and Clara
(Pierson) Furman.  Albert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elsie
Furman of Saranac; sons, Michael Furman of Saranac, and Phillip and Robin Furman
of Saranac; brothers, Cecil and Emma Furman of Ionia, and Gordon and Gaylen
Furman of Muir; sisters; Mary Swain of Crooked Lake, and Alice and Francis Fox
of Ionia; Grandchildren: Jessica Partridge of Belding and great grandchild,
Paxton Partridge.  Funeral services were held Monday April 21 at Lake Funeral
Home in Ionia.  Interment Saranac Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers you may make
contributions to Lansing Area Hospice.
