Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Nov 1987

Viola M. Fyan, 62, of 5912 Musgrove Highway, Sunfield, died November 10.  She
was born January 5, 1925, in East Jordan, the daughter of Archie and Lucy
Lavenway Misner.

She is survived by four sons, Fred Jr. of Lyons, Wayne of Freeport, Gordon of
Sebewa, and Bruce of Lake Odessa; three daughters, Joanne Rhoades and Susan
Kruger, both of Sebewa, and Louann Sweeny of Freeport; 25 grandchildren, four
brothers, Archie of Rockford, Mitchell of Lake Odessa, Russell of Clarksville,
and Floyd of Lake Odessa; and two sisters, Gladys Peabody of Lake Odessa and
Luella Vandergriss of St. Johns.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, the
Rev. John Hodges officiating.  Burial was in East Sebewa cemetery.  Pallbearers
were Otis Posey, Rodney, Bruce and William Fyan, Jim Sweeny and Leroy D’Water.
