Lyons Herald, 22 Nov 1917

Frances M. Alger was born in Lyons township March 7, 1853.  About 23 years ago 
she married Arthur Fyfe.  For many years she has been an invalid.  About four 
years ago she was converted to the Christian faith.  She died last Wednesday 
morning, Nov. 13, aged 64 years, 8 months and 7 days.  Funeral services were held 
Friday afternoon from the home of her brother, W.H. Alger, conducted by Rev. Geo. 
A. Brown; interment in Lyons cemetery.
