Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat. February 1, 2025

           GAGE

Glen Bryce Gage, age 80 of Saranac passed away January 22, 2025. He was born 
February 27, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Roy and Carol (Shores) 
Gage.

He worked at Keeler-Brass and later Anway as a Maintenance Supervisor.Glen owned 
and operated Saranac Soft Serve and Bear Creek Builders for several years before 
Managing the Saranac American Legion Post 175, where he worked 10 years until 
his retirement.

He loved to golf, bowl and tinker with tractors. Glen was very handy and enjoyed 
working on muscle cars and mud trucks. He especially enjoyed woodworking.

Glen would help anyone that needed a hand.

Surviving are his children, Traverse(Kelsey)Gage of Ionia, Tana Boger & Brian of 
Alto, Dennis(Debbie)Gage of San Diego, California, Rick(Brianne)Goodwin of 
Clarksville, Tara Todd of Ionia and Diane (Mike) Johnson of Jacksonville, 
Florida. Grandchildren, Kylee, Gavin, Tyler, Amy, Angie, Amber, Miles, Penny, 
Jack, Penny, Avery and Sydney. Great-grandson,Gage. Brothers,Dean (Connie) Gage 
of Saranac & Terry(Judy) Gage of Newaygo. Sisters, Bonnie Kitteridge of Lowell & 
Roanne (Jim) Hammond of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Sister-in-law, Vicki Gage of 
Florida, several nieces, nephews and many friends.He was preceded in death by 
his parents and brother Gary Gage.

Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be at the Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia on Saturday, February 1, at 1:00pm. Visitation will be on Saturday from 
11:00 am. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to 
Saranac American Legion Post 175. Online condolences may be made at
