                               RUSSELL FRANK GAIS

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home 
for Russell Frank Gaies, 79, of 934 South Bross Street.

Rev. Wilford Wood will officiate.Interment will be at River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Horvath, Donald Mosier, Milton Mosier, Frank Mosier, 
Charles Sydow and Richard Hoxie.

Mr.Gais died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at Belding Community Hospital where 
he had been a patient for three days.

Mr.Gais was born January 26, 1889 at Rockford, the son of Max and Caroline 
(Dunbar) Gais.

He was married to the former Ida Denman November 23, 1910 at Greenville. they 
celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1960.

A retired mail carrier, Mr. Gais was employed by the U.S.Postal Service for 42 
years. He originated Rustic gardens greenhouse now operated by his son.

He was a life member of Belding Lodge #355 F&AM consistory Shrine and the 
National Rural Letter Carriers Associations.

Surviving are his wife, two sons Francis X and Carlton R., both of Belding and 
two grandchildren.
