GALAVIZ DIES UNEXPECTEDLY Mrs. Josefa N. Galaviz, 55, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning at her home at 1304 Ionia St. Native of Piedras, Negras, Mexico, she married Felix O. Galaviz at Dallas, Texas, on January 26, 1935. They resided at Dallas for 18 years before moving to Lake Odessa, and for the past 12 years they have resided in the village. Mrs. Galaviz was a member of the St. Edwards church. Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Josephine) Olivio, Misses Angelita and Juanita Galaviz at home, four sons, Eligio, Felix, Jr. and Valentine of Lake Odessa and David Villa of Dallas, Texas, 11 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Jesusa Zendejas, Maria Valdedz and Manuela Leija of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Otilo Nabejar of Laredo, Mexico; three brothers Isabel and Hilario Nabejar and Jose Vilia, all of Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Galaviz reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where the rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the St. Edwards Church with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. Fr. Raymond Pattok will officiate.
