Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 May 1977

William H. Galer, 46, of Knox road, Portland died Wednesday at his home after
being crushed by a bull.  He was born January 2, 1931 in Lansing, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Marcus Galer.  Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Iva Pung of Portland,
two nieces and three nephews.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick’s church with Rev. Father
Donald Weber officiating.  Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Neller
funeral home.  Burial is in Portland cemetery.  Bearers are Jerry Cook, Elon
Goodman, Dale Stiffler, William George Byrner, Harry Klein and Joseph Pung.
