                            Dorotha Rose Galey

Dorotha Rose Galey, 87, of Portland passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010. She 
was born on Dec.7, 1922 the daughter of Anthony and Gladys (Patrick) Wohlscheid. 
Dorotha was a member of the VFW Post VFW Ladies Ausiliary. She enjoyed playing 
the piano, crossword puzzles and playing cards. Her greatest love was her 
children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; grandson, Greg Galey; 
granddaughter, Audra Mleko; sister,Joyce Gibbs; brother, Charles Wohlscheid.

Surviving are her children, Norva (Jerry) Mleko of Mass City, Phyllis (Terry) 
Gilbert of Portland, Debbie Dickey of Sydney Australia, Beverly (Jerry) Patrick 
of Portland, Michael (Jean) Galey of Portland, David Galey of Carbondale, Colo., 
and Christopher Galey of Lansing; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Marilyn V.Danielson at 11  
a.m. Monday, Oct 4, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge, 
St., Portland. Interment will be in Portland Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Michigan Hospice House, 1210
