Jeffrey Scott Gallagher, 49, of Fenwick passed away unexpectedly with his wife 
in St. Louis, Mo. He was born Nov. 25, 1962 in Sheridan, the son of James and 
Beverly (Ward) Gallagher. Jeffrey married Ronda Thurlow in 1983. He owned and 
operated Timely Transport for several years. He was a member of Shiloh 
Community Church and the Masons of Stanton. 

Jeffrey is survived by his children, Jessica Gallagher of Grand Rapids and 
Jordan (Dana) Gallagher of Fenwick; parents, James (Beverly) Gallagher of 
Fenwick; granddaughter, Alexis; brother, James Gallagher and Christina Thelen 
of Holt and sister, Brenda (Christopher) Howell of Fenwick.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery in 
Sheridan. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh 
Community Church.

Fenwick Couple killed in St. Louis area crash
Motorcyclists were visiting family while on vacation

Authorities in St. Louis have identified the two people killed in a collision 
between a car and a motorcycle as a Michigan couple visiting family while on 
vacation.

The crash happened Thursday near the Interstate 44 overpass and Big Bend Road 
when the care was making a left turn.

St Louis police on Friday identified the motorcycle riders as Jeffrey and Ronda 
Gallagher, both 49 years old, from Fenwick, Mich. They were pronounced dead at 
a hospital.

The driver of the car was unhurt. No citations or charges have been issued.
