Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, June 10, 1943

Mrs. Fern Gallagher, 41, of 649 West Washington street, died suddenly Thursday 
morning in Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, where she had submitted to an 
emergency operation for a ruptured appendix nine days ago. She was born in 
Easton township and attended school there.

She was married to George Gallagher of Ionia, who survives her. She is survived 
by three daughters, Mildred of Lansing, Lucille, and Phyllis at home; her 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Conner of Ionia; a brother, Samuel Conner of Ionia 
a sister, Mrs. Rhoda Starr of Chicago. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Myers 
funeral home. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
