Lake Odessa Wave, 8 Feb 1951

Charles E. Galligan, 87, retired farmer, passed away late Wednesday night at 
the Taylor Convalescent home in Ionia where he had been a patient four weeks.  
Prior to that time he had resided at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ruth 
Teachout at Woodbury.

Surviving besides Mrs. Teachout is another daughter, Mrs. Grace Mayer and a 
son, both of Detroit, a brother John A. of Jackson, three grandchildren and one 
step-granddaughter.

Mr. Galligan reposed at the Pickens chapel until Saturday noon when he was 
taken to the Swartout funeral home at Pinckney where services were held at 2 
p.m. with burial in Northfield cemetery.
