Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Sep 1964

Claude Galloup, 60, of route one, Sidney, died Thursday morning at Sheridan
Community hospital.  He was born August 31, 1904 near Ionia and lived his entire
life in Sheridan vicinity.  He was employed at Carnation Milk company and was a
member of Sheridan Bible chapel.  In 1932 he was married to Ruth Sherd who died
in 1954.  He was later married to Marjorie Morse in 1957 who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Parcher of Globe, Ariz.; four
grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Avis Jackson of Stanton, Mrs. Shirley
Woodbury of Edmore and Mrs. Erabelle Quick of Saginaw; two stepsons, Gordon and
Claude Morse of route one, Sidney; 19 stepgrandchildren; his stepmother, Mrs.
Myrtle Galloup of Ionia and a stepsister, Mrs. Ruth Lucas of Ionia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan.
 Interment will be at Sheridan cemetery and the Rev. William Pell of Grand
Rapids will officiate.
