Born in Berlin township March 29, 1861, he lived his entire life in Berlin and Orange townships, residing in his present home in Orange township for 50 years. He was married in 1891 to Emma Jean Abbott, who died in 1901. A second marriage to Anna Ramsdall took place June 4, 1903 and she preceded him in death November 24, 1928. Survivors are two brothers, Hugh Galloway of Orange township and Norman Galloway of Berlin township. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, August 7, at 2 p.m. at the farm residence of his brother, Norman Galloway. Rev. Kenneth Griswold of the LeValley Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Balcom cemetery.
