Former Resident of Orange Township Dies at Ionia

Mrs. Lucy V. Galloway, 90, died at an Ionia convalescent home late Tuesday
night.  She was the widow of Pitt Galloway and a former resident of Orange
Township.  She had been residing in Ionia since 1919.  She had been a member of
the LeValley church for many years before moving to Ionia.

Funeral services are being held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist
church in Ionia with burial in Balcolm cemetery.  Surviving are two
grandchildren, Pitt Galloway, of St. Johns and Mrs. Marion McPherson, of
California.  There are four great grandchildren.  Body will be at Boynton
Funeral Home until time of services.
