Ionia County Shoppers Guide, 18 Feb 2006

Lucy E. Galloway, age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006.  
Surviving are her children: Roberta (Robert) Helms, Clinton Galloway (special 
friend Kirsten Slowins), Nancy (Norman) McKendry, Gordon (Cheryl) Galloway, 
Roderick (Bonnie) Galloway and Rodney (Chris) Galloway; 14 grandchildren; 12 
great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings: Robert Barnard of 
Grand Rapids, MI, Kenneth (Mildred) Barnard of Franklin, VA, Dale Barnard of 
Philadelphia, PA, Rachel Zimmer of Portland, MI, Ruth Ann Summers of 
Vermontville, MI and Lolabelle Whitley of Fyffe, AL.  Funeral services were 
held Tuesday, February 14, 2006.  Interment will take place in the spring at 
Balcom Cemetery, Ionia.  Arrangements by Schrauben-Lehman funeral Home, 220 
Rich Street, Ionia.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to 
the LeValley United Methodist Church, or to the Charity of One’s Choice, in 
memory of Mrs. Galloway.
