                            HATTIE A. GALLOWAY

Mrs. Hattie A.Galloway, 99, of West Bennett road died early Saturday morning at 
the Ionia Manor where she had been a patient for the past year.She was the widow 
of Norman Galloway.

Born in Vermontville November 11, 1875, she was the daughter of Daniel and Mary 
farmer Combs and moved with her parents when a child to the Ionia area.She 
attended the Loomis school.

February 11, 1897, she was married to Norman Galloway in Ionia and they made 
their home east of Collins until moving to Berlin Township n 1903. She had made 
her home on Bennett road the past 71 years.

Her husband died May 23, 1942.

Surviving are a son, Gayle Galloway of Ionia; two grandsons and five great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home. Rev. 
Lloyd A Walker of the Berlin Center United Methodist Church will officiate and 
interment will be at the Balcom Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Crippled children's society.

Members of the family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 7 to 9pm.
