She was born September 18, 1922 in Batesville, Texas, the daughter of Joseph and Bartola Virrail Rios. She was married on March 9, 1961 in Ionia to Natividad Ramos and he preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Paul Galvan and he preceded her in 1997. She was also preceded by her parents and her brother Pete. Tomasa is survived by her children, Joseph and Patricia Gonzales of Illinois, Dora and John Tanquma of Wisconsin, Robert Ramos of Stanton, Pablo and Beverly Ramos of Ludington, Bartola Ramos of Grand Rapids, Maria and Dale Van Ocker of Belding, Hope and Rick Carroll of Tennessee, Jessy and Jean Gonzales of Ionia, Gloria and Daniel Petrick of St. Johns and Natividad and Tammy Ramos of St. Johns. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, her brothers and sisters, Paul of Texas, Mike of Wisconsin, Louise of Wisconsin, Anita of Wisconsin, Jessica of Idaho, and Vincent of Texas. A memorial Mass for Tomasa will be 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Troy Nevins officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
