Mrs. Lida Gamber, a Resident of Lyons, Dies in Grand Rapids

Mrs. Lida B. Gamber, 76, widow of Sidney Gamber, died Tuesday at the home of a
daughter, Mrs. Charles Ginebaugh in Grand Rapids after a year’s illness.  She
was born Sept. 7, 1869 at Angola, Ind., and had resided near Lyons many years.

Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Lewis Jones of Portland; a son, Perry of
Grand Rapids; three brothers, Lawrence Hanselman, of Detroit; John of Petoskey
and Leo of Lakeview; two sisters Mrs. Zoe Marshall of Portland and Mrs. Luella
Faber of Greenville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Shaw funeral home, Muir,
with burial in Fairplains Cemetery, Fenwick.

[Transcriber’s note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was the
daughter of David and Rebecca (Henry) Hanselman.  There is also a notation that
she was buried in Clear Lake Cemetery.]
