Lake Odessa Wave
          SERVICES FOR NET GANIERE
   Mrs. Neta M. Ganliere, 78 of 740 Clark Rd., Lansing, former Lake Odessa resident,
passed away Wednesday,  November 23 at St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing where she was 
hospitalized since November 18.
   She was born in Lima, Ohio, August 29, 1899, the daughter of Jesse and Sarah
(Gray) Edgecomb and moved to the Lake Odessa area when three years old and had attended 
the Clarksville and Lake Odessa schools.  Her first husband was Harold Durkee, whom she 
married October 10, 1917 at Lake Odessa.  She married Frank Ganiere in 1949 and he 
passed away June 1, 1965.  They resided on King Road, south west of Lake Odessa and 
after his death she moved to California in 1972.  Mrs. Ganiere was employed at one time 
at the Hastings Banner and had attended the Zion Lutheran Church.
   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George (Anneta) Sprague of Midland;  one grandson,
Michael of Albuquerque N. Mexico;  four great grand children;  and two brothers, Paul 
Edgecomb of Lansing and Carl Edgecomb of Grand Ledge.
   Services were held Friday at 3 p.m. at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.
Rev. Floyd Nagel of the Grand Ledge United Chapel Church officiated.
