Hasting's Reminder - Saturday, March 7, 2026

GUADALUPE "LUPE" GARCIA, age 87, passed away on February 25, 2026. Born January 
31, 1939, Guadalupe was a longtime resident of Lake Odessa, MI.

Guadalupe worked for many years at Twin City's/Wyeth until her retirement in 
2004.
Born to Antonio Garcia & Ursula Granados, Guadalupe was preceded in death by her 
parents & her siblings, Manuel, John, Richard, Joe, Theresa & Lucy.

She is survived by her siblings Antonio (Diane)Garcia, Jesie Garcia, Frances 
(Eduardo) Gauno, Mary (David) Aguinage, Rosa Garcia, Dee(Kelly) Stansbury, Frank 
Garcia, & David (Libby) Garcia, along with many  nieces, nephews, nephews & 
friends.

Lupe found joy in quilting, embroidering, puzzles, coloring, & painting. She 
also enjoyed trying new recipes & was happiest when her family gathered around 
her.

Lupe was a member of St.Edwards Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 
5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Koops 
Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. with burial following at Sunset Memorial Garden in 
Ionia.

Donations in Lupe's name can be given to the American Cancer Society.
