The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 14, 1969

Lyons—Perry Gardner, 79, a World War I veteran, died Friday at Veterans 
Administration hospital in Saginaw.  He had lived in Barryton many years.  He 
was born in Muir the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Gardner.  His wife died many 
years ago.

Surviving are a brother Harry F. Gardner of Lyons and a sister Mrs. Helen 
Walker of Lansing.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Shaw-Rivett Hull funeral home in Muir.  
Burial will be at Muir cemetery.
