Warren C. Gardner, 85, of 7357 Wimple Dr. N.E. in Belding died Friday in 
Belding Christian Nursing Home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1903 in Smyrna the son of Chester and Edith (Chapman) 
Gardner.

He was a member of the Ionia Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Gladys (King) who he married April 30, 1932, in 
Belding.  He is also survived by a daughter Sharon Harris of Belding, a sister 
June Garner of Belding, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A son, Wayne preceded him in death in 1946.

Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home in Belding 
with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be at River Ridge 
Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 
9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
