Her husband, a former Ionia marshal, was killed when a truck he was driving was struck by a train near the Hudson and Adams street. She is survived by three sons, Frank Gardner of New York, George Gardner, of Lansing and Earl Gardner of Flint. Prayer services will be held Monday morning at 10 o’clock in Flint then the body will be brought to the Bradley funeral home and services conducted there at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon. Rev. F. G. Dunbar will officiate and burial will be in Oakhill cemetery beside her husband.
