The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 30, 1981

Hazel N. Gardner, 86, of 428 Center St., Portland, died Sunday in a Lansing 
hospital.  She was born Oct. 15, 1895 in Portland, and was a retired 
beautician.  

Her husband Francis preceded her in death.  There are no known survivors; she 
had been cared or by Dorothy and Lucille Hoppes of Portland.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, 
with the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating.  Burial will be in Portland 
Cemetery.
