Hugh Gardner, 64 of 702 Morton avenue, Belding died Friday noon, following a
lengthy illness, at Greenville United Memorial hospital where he had been the
past five days.  He was born September 25, 1904 in Smyrna the son of Chester and
Edith Gardner.  He was a machine operator at Extruded Metals in Belding.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Dell of Yankee Springs; two sons, Edward
of Belding and Gordon of Jennison; 12 grandchildren; one sister, June Gardner
and a brother Warren Gardner of Belding.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding
with burial at River Ridge Cemetery.
