She was born April 17, 1913, in Belding, the daughter of Chester and Edith Chapman Gardner. June graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1932 and was a member of the Rebekahs. She was a longtime employee and retired from Federal-Mogul, Greenville. June was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Warren Gardner and Hugh Gardner; and two nephews, Edward Gardner and Gordon Gardner. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Barbara and Ernest Dell of Nashville, Sharon Harris, Edna Gardner, both of Belding; Marian Gardner of Jenison; many great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Funeral services were 11 a.m. today at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor William Overton of Family Life Center Church of God officiating. Private interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belding Museum or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
