Delbert L. Gardner, 77, of Greenville, died suddenly Friday evening, Oct. 6,
2006, in Greenville.  He was born in Lansing on May 15, 1929, the son of Donald
and Edna Baker Gardner.  He retired from General Motors Corp. in 1989 with 35
years of service.

He was preceded in death by his children, Lawrence Edward Gardner, Delbert L.
Gardner Jr.; and brother, Fred.  He is survived by his children, Dianna Gardner
of Greenville, Randy Gardner of Sheridan; seven grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; special friends, Dorothy Gray and Michael Gray of
Greenville; and niece, Cathy, and nephew, Gary Weindenfeller of Hastings.

There will be no services.  Following cremation, burial will be in Rest Haven
Memory Gardens, Belding.  Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, is serving the Gardner
family.
