Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1944

Edwin Davison Gardner, 86, died Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home 
of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Young of Keene township with whom he had resided for many 
years. He was born November 11, 1837 in Toledo, Ohio. His wife, Mary, died in 
1882. There are no survivors.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Morris 
funeral home, Saranac. Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
