GARDNER
Patricia Ann (Henry) Gardner, age 83, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, formerly of 
Saranac, Michigan passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021. Patricia was born 
the daughter of Wayne and Audrey (Baie) Henry in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 
November 2, 1937.
She graduated from Saranac High School, class of 1955, and earned her bachelors 
degree from Michigan State University. Patricia began her career as a  high 
school teacher in the New Lothrop Community Schools. 
She married William Gray Gardner on July 1, 1961 at Saranac Community Church. 
She and Bill raised their son, James, in Prescott, Michigan. Patricia loved her 
family and friends.She enjoyed horses in her youth. Patricia and Bill also loved 
to travel around the country. 
She was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the various churches she and 
Bill attended. Patricia is survived by her son James (Michell) Gardner; 
grandchildren, Jacob (Lydia) Gardner, Nicholas Gardner, Matthew Gardner, 
Benjamin Gardner, Bethany Gardner, and Anna Kate Gardner, great-grandchildren 
Adeline and Lorelai Gardner, niece Margaret (Tom Walters) Reister; nephews 
William (Linda) Reister and Kenneth (June) Reister; and many loving family and 
friends. 
Patricia had lain in state on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the 
time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Five Points Community Church, 
located at 3411 E.Walton Blvd.in Auburn Hill,Michigan.
Burial will be private at a later date at Deep Dale Memorial Gardens in Lansing 
Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's honor to Christ's 
Hope international online at www.chistshope.org or by envelop at the church.
