GARDNER

Robert Walter, Gardner Jr., age 76,, of Saranac, passed away on April 29th at 
home, peacefully and surrounded by his family.

Bob, as he was known by most, was loved by his family and friends. A tool and 
die maker by trade; he loved solving problems and planning things out! He also 
enjoyed gardening, cultivating grapes and feeding his guests great meals.

To his grandchildren, Robert was "Papa". He was always the most devoted fan and 
usually the loudest spectator at high school sporting events!

Bob loved camping, dogs, his Honda Goldwing and trips to the U.P. He also loved 
sending neighborhood kids on a snipe hunt!

Most of all though, Robert loved teaching his children, his grandchildren and 
even their friends how to solve problems using good old fashioned common sense 
and by alway doing it right the first time!

Robert will be very much missed by his surviving children, his grandchildren and 
great-grandchildren, his brother and sisters, many other relatives, friends and  
neighbors. Robert wished to have his remains cremated. His family will host a 
Life Celebration event in the near future.
