                           Mrs.Edith M.Gardner

Mrs.Edith May Gardner, 82, died Sunday morning at her home, 702 Morton Ave. She 
was born December 11, 1880 in Barry County was married to Chester Gardner in 
1901 and he died in 1945.

She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, and the Timble Club and Spanish American War 
Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Warren and Hugh Gardner and one daughter, Miss June 
Gardner of this city; three sisters, Mrs.Etta Whinnery, Gowen; Mrs.Alice Pitsch, 
Alto and Mrs.Grace Button, Otsego, four grand children and 17 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman Funeral Home.Rev. 
H.S.Ellis Officiating and burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.
