Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Mar 1946

Mrs. Rose M. Gardner, 60, died suddenly at her home in Lake Odessa Sunday morning. 

She is survived by her husband, William E. Gardner, a sister, Mrs. Charles
Hervey of Oklahoma City; one brother, James Batig of South Bend, Indiana, and
several nieces.  Her husband is a former deputy sheriff of Lake Odessa, and a
Lake Odessa grocery merchant.
