EDWARD GARLAND DIED FRIDAY
Prayer service was held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Pickens funeral chapel for Edward
Allen Garland, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ami C. Garland of route 1,  Saranac, who died
Friday night at the Ionia county memorial hospital.

Surviving besides the parents are a sister Dianna, two brothers, Donald and Terry at
home, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Aldrich of route 1, Saranac and paternal 
grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Garland of route 2, Ionia.

Burial in Balcom cemetery near Ionia. Rev. Earl Carpenter officiated.
