LUCINDA GARLICK DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Lucinda Garlick, 90, lifelong resident of Woodland died Tuesday forenoon at
Pennock Hospital where she was admitted Sunday night with a heart ailment.

The daughter of Christian and Christina (Reiser) Burkle, who was one of the oldest
pioneers of Woodland. She was a life member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one sister Mrs. Christina Grosinger; a brother George Burkle, both of
Woodland; two nephews and a niece. Her husband, George died in 1938

Mrs. Garlick reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel at Lake Odessa and will be taken
to the Zion Lutheran Church at 10 am, Friday where funeral services will be held at 2 pm.
Burial in the Woodland Memorial Cemetery. Rev. George Neiman will officiate.
