Lyons Herald, 24 May 1906

Died at her home in the village of Lyons on Friday, May 18, 1906, Eliza A. 
Garlock, aged 62 years.

Deceased was the widow of Alford A. Garlock, of Sebewa, who died about 1 ½ 
years ago, since which she has passed most of her time in this village.  She 
was born in New York state in 1845, her maiden name being Eliza Pratt.  At the 
age of 12 years she came to Lyons township, from here going to Sebewa.

The funeral was held Monday morning, being largely attended.  It was conducted 
by Rev. H. E. Wylie, assisted by a choir composed of Messers Balch and Hale and 
Mesdames Bradt and Hawley.  The floral offerings were beautiful.  The pall 
bearers were Geo. Faxon, E. B. Hale, A. S. Bunnell and D. L. Boyden.  Interment 
in Danby cemetery, where numerous Sebewa friends gathered to pay their respects 
to the deceased.
