The deceased moved to Lake Odessa from Grand Haven in 1939 and opened the Garnaat and Rader Machine Products company. He was also a partner in the Jordan Lake Machine Products company and the Lake Odessa Printing service. He attended the Lake Odessa Evangelical church where he was a trustee and Sunday school teacher. He is survived by his wife, Reka; three sons, Henry of Muskegon, Jack of Lansing and David at home; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Jansen of Holland; three grandchildren; four brothers, Peter of Muskegon, Henry of Portage, Mitchell of Kalamazoo and Albert of Phoenix, Ariz.; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Wysenberg of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Cena Gibbs of Ft. Custer, Mrs. Grace Groendyk of Ada, Mrs. Jennie Fisher of Keyce, Wyo., and Mrs. Ella Poulson of Lowell, Ark. Services will be held from the Evangelical church at Lake Odessa Saturday at 4 p.m. with interment in Muskegon.
