son of John and Hattie Koops Garnaat

Attended Lake Odessa High School

WWII Vet (US Army), joined 1943
Served in 30th Infantry, participated in Battle of the Bulge
Discharge 1946

Preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Reka Garnaat; great 
granddaughter, Ana Maria Mendoza; brothers Henry and David Garnaat; sister, 
Marie Janson

Arrangements by Tiffany Funeral Home, Lansing
Internment in Chapel High Memorial Gardens
