Oct. 8, 1976 VICIE B. GARNER Mrs. Vicie B. Garner, 61, of 301 East Washington, suffered a fatal heart attack at her residence Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Garner was born in Sheridan December 31, 1915 the daughter of Edward and Bertha Hostetler Greenhoe. She lived most of her life in Ionia and had worked at Ypsilanti-Reed and Ivan Clark manufacturing. Survivors include four sons, Bill Thomas of Chicago, Illinois, Hugh and Glen Wolfington of Ionia and Robert Wolfington of North Carolina and three daughters, Mrs. Leona Shattuck of Ionia, Mrs. Charles (Jean) Wright of Lowell and Mrs. Janet Oaks of North Carolina. Two brothers Donald Greenhoe of Ionia and Len Greenhoe of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Bohn of Crystal and Mrs. Kate French of Lansing, 17 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren also survive. Services are Saturday at 2 pm at the Leddick funeral home with Rev. Roger Gifford of the First Christian church in Ionia Officiating. Burial is in Balcom cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Ionia Sentinel Standard-Sat. Oct. 9, 1976 VICIE B. GARNER Funeral services for Vicie B. Garner, 61, who died Thursday were Saturday at 2 pm at the Leddick funeral home with Rev. Roger Gifford of First Christian church officiating. Burial was in Balcom cemetery. Bearers were Lee Barnett, Rich and Matt Moore, John Wilbur, George Brownell and Dave Eaton. Following graveside services, lunch was prepared and served to family and friends by the Women of the Moose in the dining room at the Ionia Moose lodge. Omitted from the list of survivors appearing in Friday's Daily Sentinel Standard was her husband, Maynard of Ionia.
