Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Feb 1960

Service was conducted Friday afternoon at Stone-Kauffman funeral home for Walter
William Garrett, 66, 402 Division street, who died at 2:30 Tuesday morning.  The
Rev. Heath T. Goodwin officiated and interment was in the family lot at Tuttle
cemetery.  Bearers were Gene Mitchell, George Forman, Dad Forman, Harry
Wadsworth, Joe Hale and Beathel Rhew, all of Grand Rapids.

Out of town persons attending were Mr. and Mrs. Victor Croel and son, Mrs. Lyle
Pike and Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Bordeaux of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Dave Pryab
of Cutlerville; Bob Croel of Louisville, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sniff of
Mesick, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder and daughters of Marshall, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Hale of Orleans, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Croel of Lansing and Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Leiter of Six Lakes.
