Beulah May Garrison, born June 1, 1937 in Little Rock, AR, passed away May 30, 
2014 in Sunfield, MI.  She was a member of Mount Hope Church, Portland; loved 
to sing music with the family, gardening, and going for walks outside.  
Beulah's grandchildren were the joy of her life. 

She is survived by her son Terry Garrison, daughters: Marty (Peter) Willingham, 
Wanda (Thomas) Lowe, Julie (Brian Starr) Garrison, Janet (Mark) DiJohn, Jody 
(Robert) Wilkinson; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, also sisters 
Evelyn (Robert) Oberlin and Bessie (Lamar) Hall.  She was preceded in death by 
her husband of 43 years, Colonel Garrison, parents, William and Janice 
Phillips, sisters: Christine Clark, Mary Culpepper, Jessie Garner, and brother 
Ray Phillips. 

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 - 11:00 a.m. at the Mount 
Hope Church, 845 Ionia Road, Portland, MI 48875, with Pastor Joe Robbe 
officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the 
Peters & Murray Funeral Home, 301 E. Jefferson St., Grand Ledge.  For those 
desiring, memorial donations may be made to the Breslin Cancer Center or Mount 
Hope Church, Portland in memory of Beulah Garrison.
