Mrs. Mary Maria Johnson was born near Antwerp, Ohio, October 6, 1846.  Married 
Wm. T. Garver February, 1866 and to this union were born two children, one 
dying in infancy, one aged 17 years.  Mr. and Mrs. Garver moved to Michigan in 
1873 settling at Morley, where they remained until 1877, when they moved to 
Belding.  Mr. Garver passed away 8 years ago and she has been in very poor 
health ever since.  She was a member of the reorganized Church of Jesus Christ 
of Latter Day Saints.  Funeral services were held at her late home at 824 Pearl 
street, Sunday, conducted by her pastor, Elder J. D. Aelick, after which the 
remains were taken to Morley and laid to rest beside her husband and two 
children.
