Anthony Gasper was born in Collins, Erie county, N.Y., and came to Michigan when
a boy.  In 1890 he married Miss Margaret Kammers and six children were born to
them, Katie, Lena, Carl, Ralph, Theodore and baby Florence.  He died in Keene
May 17, of Pneumonia, aged 43 years.  Funeral services were held in St. Mary’s
church May 19 attended by a large number of neighbors and friends who held him
in high esteem, the floral offerings were many and beautiful.  Besides his wife
and children he leaves a father, three brothers and three sisters to mourn his
loss.  His brothers and sisters are Peter Gasper Keene, Wm. Gasper Grand Rapids,
John Gasper, Susan Feuerstein, Mary Roth of Maple Grove and Anna Gasper Albion
all of whom were present at the funeral besides other relatives from abroad.
