The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 24, 1973
John Gatcu, 93, died Saturday at Inboy’s convalescent home in Ionia.  He was 
born in Hungary and was a former resident of Portland.  There are no known 
survivors.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Rev. Harold Homer of Portland United Methodist church will 
officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.  Bearers will be James 
Nash, James Phillips, Charles Rhoades and Elmer Neime.
