Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Aug 2004

Laura A. Gates age 89, died August 9, 2004.  Born October 8, 1914 in Orange 
Township, Ionia County.  Miss Gates was a Registered Nurse for the River Rouge 
School District for 33 years.

Surviving are one brother, Arthur Gates of Central Lake, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be Friday, August 13, at 2 p.m. at the LeValley United 
Methodist Church, 1461 E. David Highway with the Rev. Mark G. Johnson 
officiating.  Interment will follow in Tuttle Cemetery in Ionia.  The family 
will receive friends at the church Friday one hour prior to the service.  The 
family is being served by the Gorsline-Runciman Co., Lansing Chapel.
